Anatomy HUDs and Medical Animations

For health explainers, medical dramas and sci-fi sick bays: HUD body scans of the nervous, lymphatic, muscle and circulatory systems, walking and running anatomy figures, cartoon skeletons that dance, run and explode, and ambulances that drive in, drift and park. More interface graphics are in Technology.

Which format should I download?

ProRes (.MOV): the pick for all of it. HUD scans and cartoon skeletons layer over footage in Normal mode, and ambulances drop into a street shot with no keying.
MP4: arrives with a background. After keying, check the thin lines of the HUD figures and the ambulance's wheels and mirrors.

How to build a medical explainer

Float a body scan over a doctor's tablet, a lab monitor or the empty side of a presenter shot, with a faint glow to tie it in.
Choose the figure's view (Front, Quarter, Side or Spin) to suit the layout, and its walk, run or idle cycle to suit the pace.
For ambulances, match your camera height, put a soft shadow under the wheels, and let the free Light Wrap plugin pull the street's light around the bodywork in After Effects.
For 3D shots, add blood cells or EMT figures from our anatomical 3D models.
